An MS in Ophthalmology from the prestigious Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam, Dr Raju had an illustrious career in the field of eye care. He worked in the A P Medical & Health Service, Government of Andhra Pradesh for 15 years. |
He has been the Chief Surgeon at Sankar Foundation since 1999. His areas of interest include Medical Retina and Paediatric Ophthalmology apart from community ophthalmology. With his enthusiasm and efficiency, He has been instrumental in the Hospital reaching its present state of excellence. |

Dr T Raveendra
An MS in Ophthalmology, Dr Raveendra also has an Arvind fellowship in General Ophthalmology , Anterior Segment and Intraocular Lens Microsurgery including Phaco-emulsification. He incharge for the Glaucoma services of the hospital. He has extensive experience in Orbit and Oculoplasty surgeries. He is known for his cool attitude and extremely efficient work. He has been with the hospital since 2001. |

Dr G Suparna
A holder of Post Graduate Diploma in Ophthalmology, Dr Suparna has been a dedicated surgeon for the hospital since the year 2000. Her areas of interest include medical retina and retinopathy of prematurity. |

Dr R Gayatri
An MS in Opthalmology, Dr Gayatri is currently the Camp Medical Officer of Sankar Foundation. After joining the hospital in July 2005, she has quickly proven her capacity and skills in conducting Large eye camps successfully.

Dr Nasrin
A Diploma in Ophthalmology from the prestigious AMC, Vizag, Dr Nasrin also had a brilliant academic career. She has won a gold medal in Physiology in 1989, in Ophthalmology in 1991 and in Medicine in 1992. She has been with the hospital since 2003. Her areas of interest include Uveitis and Corneal diseases. |
| Dr Ajay Sharma An MS in Ophthalmology from Guntur Medical College, He did his fellowship in vitreo-retinal diseases from Aravind eye hospital, Madurai. He is particularly interested in management of diabetic retinopathy. He has extensive experience as a vitreo-retinal consultant. |
