You can help Sankar Foundation in its mission of eliminating blindness by generously contributing towards any of its activities. All donations to Sankar Foundation enjoy Tax exemption as given below in this page.There are many ways to do this:

1. Give a general monetary donation.
2. Sponsor a surgery.
3. Sponsor an eye camp.
4. Sponsor a School screening camp and fund distribution of free spectacles to children.

Sankar Foundation is proposing to build a hospital complex with a built up area of One Lakh square feet to help the needy and to provide quality eye care free of cost, to the poor and at reasonable rates to those who can afford the services and to do everything it can in accomplishing the mission of eliminating avoidable blindness.

To build a state-of-the-art eye hospital, it would cost Rs.900 lakhs and your kind participation in this huge project is solicited, by donating for any of the following:

Construction cost of 1 Room in the New Hospital Rs.  100,000
This donation would be deposited in RBI Bonds, the interest of which shall be utilized for one cataract surgery per year for the next 10 years, beyond which the principal amount would be added to corpus fund.
Rs.    30,000
Or Sponsor any of the following for recurring expenses:  
1 Cataract Surgery Rs.      2,000
1 Retina Surgery Rs.    10,000
1 Paediatric Surgery Rs.      5,000
100 Pairs of Spectacles Rs.    20,000
Food for patients for 1 week Rs.    10,000
1 Cataract Camp
Rs.    15,000

 

TAX BENEFITS:

1. Exemptions under sections 80G & 35AC of I.T.Act are available for Donors.
